Quote:Obfuscating is a better word for your examples. The Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro is an A-mount lens. It is not wide angle. Nor does its aperture open very wide. And DPreview's studio shots are not done wide open. So why would one look for the reported problem in those images?
Funny that the claim now has changed to "the sensor has an issue only when the lens is wde open". That was not your (and Klaus) original claim. The claim was that the difference is visible at all the apertures, and Klaus specifically mentioned CZ 85mm, which like Sigma 70mm, is an A-mount lens.
And speaking of "posting links", I can play that game all day:
(and this is not A-mount lens, it' E-mount lens review on Nex-7)
"Believe it or not; I'd prefer this combo (NEX-7 and 24/1.8) to the A900 with either the CZ 24/2 or 35/1.4 even if they both cost the same, why? The NEX-7 and CZ 24/1.8 performs better than the A900 with either of the two lenses mentioned."
Go suck on that
