Very good as expected!
However it's interesting to see how close the old D is in the lab tests. They show very similar results. However having seen many real life comparisons online between the two, the new G lens is massivly better wide open in terms of contrast and percieved sharpness.
Is there a way to qunatify the improved contrast of a lens? It feels like this is something missing from the testing and is quite inportant?
