I actually shot the 30, 2 days after I acquired my GF2 a few months ago. Cheap and cheerful, and huge. I didn't like the fact that it si so big and "only" F/2.8. About mechanical wear: that needs to be seen. When you shake the lens, there definitely is something very, very loose and rattling loudly in there, so much so that it is definitely worrying. Even the camera store people were worried by this when i tried it. They did confirm with Sigma that this is supposed to be so. I reckon, a great lens for decentering problems, but then, I tend to be a little cynical when it comes to Sigma, based on past experiences.
Yep, not bad in the centre. Still huge and slow though, for an m43 lens. I'd rather spend a little more and go with a 20 F/1.7 and/or a 25 F/1.4. But that's me.
