Can you guess the lens?
#1
Merry Christmas to everyone!

Here is a Bokeh test of my Xmas present, a vintage "large aperture" lens at its largest aperture.

Can you guess what lens it is?

Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1 ?
#3
Would that really be a "vintage" lens?

I don't know how to adapt that to my A900.

Exif-Data is leaking something essential to make a guess ...

sensorsize ... as it seems an A900 was used, so FF. With that,

we can guess a range of focal lengths.

Exif-Data is also leaking iso-values and exposuretimes. If we

can guess the lighting in a situation shown in a picture, we get a

range of possible max-apertures.

My guess is: a 35mm f/1.4 lens.

Mine is as old as I am, and I'm a dinosaur <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Try brighter than that

The images you posted are not very clear in the field of view area... hard to guess the focal length. But... now you say it has a bigger max. f-value than f1.4. The Minolta MC 58mm f1.2?

That's the same issue I have with the images <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' /> They all don't look like 35mm shots, but longer. Except for the last one.

Is it a native Minolta / A mount, or did you use an adapter?
