Well, I'm thinking of the Voigtlander 12mm f/5.6 for my use on the NEX 7. The 12mm will give you some problems but it is fairly sharp for an ultrawide - and it's small.
As for the EA-LA2 is concerned - the Zeiss 16-80mm (440g) should be decent and the Zeiss 85/1.4 is not exceedingly heavy (560g) and big either. The AF may be a bit dated but it's certainly fast enough here.

It would be interesting to see one of the Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 lenses tested on NEX. Might have a more moderate characteristic then it's sister 12mm? At the very least, they are stop faster and quite a bit smaller, especially the screw-mount version:
VL12/5.6 M d75xL67mm, 230g
VL15/4.5 M d59x38mm, 156g
VL14/4.5 S d50x31mm, 105g
The screw mount version also focuses a bit closer (0.3m) than the bayonet version (0.5m)
