Well, I'm thinking of the Voigtlander 12mm f/5.6 for my use on the NEX 7. The 12mm will give you some problems but it is fairly sharp for an ultrawide - and it's small.
As for the EA-LA2 is concerned - the Zeiss 16-80mm (440g) should be decent and the Zeiss 85/1.4 is not exceedingly heavy (560g) and big either. The AF may be a bit dated but it's certainly fast enough here.

Actually, 12mm sounds maybe too wide for a lot of things. But won't color shift be an issue?
Regarding the 16-80 and 85/1.4, you find them ergonomically useful? I have an Olympus right now, and the mid-sized 4/3 lenses really don't work well with the body. The NEX-7 seems to be even smaller.
Thanks,
DH
