Hi Guys,
Could you please calm down. It shame for the whole forum here. The most formums are organized on that way. Person ask question and finaly he get the best/ the right answer-s.
Unfortunatly it not heppen here and several other threads.
Please let me give my opinion. I'll start at revers order.
1. Studor - nice images. Well done technically and agree that connection with sunject is very important by such type of shoots, but I miss the compositions somehow. Image 1 - Centred composition. I'd like to see the subject at 1/3 and give 2/3 to the area where she is looking to. Second image - nice moment well done but central composition coined with fontalal vantage point + difuse light in the shadow makes makes the image flat. I was thinking about pasport shoot. 3-th image nice candind image. When I'm at home I will search for head and shouder porthers taken by my dochter and I can post them to you. Your images look like the same. She is 4 years old. I assist her - atach Sigma 150 or tokina 100 macro take care for subject lighting and she did the rest.
2. Wim - I understand you since your first message. I've started to learn the DOF theory from the same links. According to me - you gave the best answers in this thread.
3. BC - I don't understand you maybe you are right too, but I cannot judge it. I personly skip any post discussing 35mm equivalents. why? Have you ever seen a image with following description - this image is taken with luhof 6x12camera, Linhof Schneider Tele-Xenar 240/5.5 Fuji velvia 50 - 80mm 35mm. equivalent.
