You post images to prove a point (that the 18-35mm is better than the sample PZ has tested).
Yet the images you post do not show that at all. What we see is not a BIT soft but a lot soft. I even pointed out that, seeing the bad center result, focus might be playing a role in this.
Now explain why I would need to own a Nikon 18-35mm lens to notice the every soft results you posted. Would me owning such a lens make me see the images you posted differently? Or are only people who own that lens allowed to give their opinion? If the latter is the case, why did you post an image at all?
If I were you I would look into why the center of the images posted (both the 18-55 and 18-35 image) look so soft. Maybe do it again using live view magnification?
