Can we maybe get back to this point, before the whole thing escalates even further?
Usually, if a lens is not within specs, like decentered, which is the most common reason for less than expected performance) this can be seen in the MTF measurement. In this case, however, there were none, the tested sample was symmetrically poor in the corners and did no show any signs of decentering in the image center, too. That's why we published the results.
I think it is fully understandable that I will not change a review just based on claims by users that a lens "should be better". To change the verdict, I'll have to measure better results myself. And I can't do so without a lens, obviously.
So, studor13, if you own the lens and think it performs significantly better than our review unit, the best thing you could do is to loan the lens to us. If you can be without the lens for a while (I guess around 14 days including shipping times), I'd gladly have a close look at its performance. Of course I'd cover all shipping costs.
