If you do not send the lens to be tested, it is not very important to you to have the lens results possibly changed or amended. You have an opportunity to prove your point. If you do not take it, you are only talking the talk and not walking the walk.
This is a free internet website. Complaining about an opinion based on the results from a tested lens is something I would never do...because the opinion does not have a bearing whatsoever on my photography. If you believe that the information presented on this website are false, worthless, inaccurate etc, why do you even waste wear and tear on your mouse button to visit here?
I may buy a lens based on test results, and an opinion, but if I do not like the lens, I will return it and try another one. I understand that there are good lenses and bad lenses out there. The only time I feel that I would have a reason to complain about a lens test is if I were purchasing the actual lens that was tested.
