I finally did it
#1
I just ordered a new lens. I've been looking at this lens for a long time, I have nothing like this now, so it will be a totally new experience in photography for me. Yes, it's a tilt/shift lens <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' /> The MC ARAX 2.8/35mm Tilt & Shift lens. I originally wanted a Hartblei, but they're never in stock anymore, and I'm not sure, but I have a feeling this lens has better optics (the Arax I mean). Anyway, it will be interesting, for both photography, video and time lapse.

This brand was mentioned in the thread posted by Reinier last week...

And the first one I came across was this 35mm TS of yours Alex... Did you order it from the Arax web site?

I hope you will share your thoughts about the lens here...

Yes, I ordered from their own website. Will be posting about it after I've received and tested it a bit <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Hi Alexander,

Aha, you have taken the plunge. I am still hesitating what to do. Sell my EF 17-40mm and buy a used 28-105/

3.5-4/5 II and a tilt/shift lens or buy the EF 24-105mm and no ts lens. There is no camera store near me where I can test these lenses and no friends of my have these lenses either. So, I guess I will rent a ts lens just to see if it is something I 'need'.

Hope to see some photographs of you soon.

Enjoy your new lens!

Best wishes,

Reinier
