Yes, but the Nex can bring Sony much more customers from other brands than the Alpha line. And so far there is no real competition in the DX sensor quality range. M43 is always a little bit behind but has larger lens lineup, Nikon is targeting a different range and Samsung has a very interesting lens lineup but their sensors are nothing to rave about.
