Having just donated via Paypal to help support this wonderful site, I thought I might post a suggestion/request. It would be very helpful if one could request notification when a new review or news article is posted on the site. Though it might be a bit more work, perhaps it could be added as a perk for those who contribute financially.

Actually this is already available. On the PZ front page you can subscribe to the Photozone News Feed (RSS).
If you prefer emails you could simply use an rss-to-email service such as feedmailer.com .
