Our first 1 star review is on the horizon ...

We have always emphasized that we use the whole scale of the star ratings ... and we will finally reach the bottom end to keep that promise <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

How awful lens must be to achieve only one star? And I'm wondering which lens is it.

Looking at Markus' sample images it would probably be a 2-3* lens on APS-C but it's a full format test. Actually it is quite easy to guess. Which lenses are optically the most challenging ? From a real world perspective this applies only to one type of lenses.

It's not an exotic, BTW, and can be purchased for multi-hundred EUR/$.

I hope that it is not a Nikon lens....because then the Fanboy Wars will begin....or maybe it would be fun to watch from the sidelines.....<img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

No, sorry ... the 20/1.8 hasn't even seen a test chart, yet <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />
