It doesn't like the sensor it seems:

In general I think you should post more sample images (or more often), but especially with a lens like this, images would be welcome (especially in regards to the reddish corners you mention)..

I'm trying to provide sample images for mainstream lenses but frankly I don't really want to spend extra efforts on exotics unless they're something special.

Well, they would be useful to check if the measured vignetting might be linked to colour shift issues. I'm using a Voigtlander Ultron 28mm f2, and while the major issue is the vignetting, but there's also a light colour shift in the corners.

By the way, Sony seems to have improved their sensor performance with wide-angle rangefinder lenses on the Sony NEX-C3, according to this post: http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1.../1#9793822 It seems to have helped somewhat with the native E16mm lens, as seen here: http://www.photoclubalpha.com/forum/view...527#p58527

I can't wait to see if the NEX-7 will also continue on this path.

The color shift issue is there but it's nowhere as extreme as with the Voigtlander 12mm f/5.6 (of course). I've taken a few field image where you can spot traces.
