They're the last I'd expect to do it. They wont want to compete against their existing SLRs and risk market confusion with bringing out another line of very similar lenses. If anyone would do it, I think it would be someone not already currently active in SLR/mirrorless cameras. That list of course isn't very long...
Note I'm not saying it is hard for them do produce such a body, but I don't think it will work in their business directions unless they literally throw out everything they have already.
