Night sky over Arles, France!
#1
Arles is a wonderful city in the south of France, going back to Roman times. The inner city is like it was 500 years ago. The pic was taken from my hotel room looking east just after sundown. I am not sure that all of the character will come out in the Jpeg issue, but tell me what you think, pls![ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

looks like no one has much to say right now foxy -

but i'll say that i like the picture, i like the darkness of it, and the sky works too - i've always liked the timeless architecture in Europe - the separate parts creating the whole, not being, well, just separate as in the more recent countries -

not sure that the industrial/everything-in-a-hurry revolution did much for design (except for old factories maybeSmile -

Aries looks nice -

a lovely shot, thank you

I think the photo is very nice. Nice mood to it.

I really like how the buildings are "layered" throughout the centuries...not like the modern straight and effective style

and You captured the detail of them and the evening mood of the city very well

I've been to wonderful roman Arles. The subject is nice and interesting. You surely can get on around your town for other pictures to improve your experience. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />
