Lens: Circular fisheye = image circle diameter smaller than sensor's shorter rectangle side. For Canon APS-C there are:
- Sigma 4.5 mm/f2.8
- Coastal Optics 4.88 mm/f5.2
- Sunex Superfisheye
Sturdy tripod, aim camera straight at zenit, ISO up and make picture. And then another one. And another one.
Tutorials? There are lots of them. Just google for "Wide field astronomy photograph" and add "tutorial", "how-to" etc. pp.
You may want to start with the kit lens and get a grip on the workflow. Don't underestimate the last part, it will take some time to get used to it. Postprocessing is essential!
EDIT: Another thing not to underestimate is light pollution. Having an airport
as neighbour ... <sigh>.
