Hoya-Pentax to build a mirrorless camera

Yeah, whatever. From the THK's site:

Don't you know Hoya is a Japanese company? (a lot bigger than THK; even Pentax Corporation was huge, compared with a mere US distributor). Don't you know Hoya is not Tokina? Don't you know that THK does not distribute Pentax products? (Pentax Imaging does, in USA) You're talking as if THK owns everything, which is nonsense.

Huh? You said THK was a dealer in the US. Now you paste that it is the import/distributor from Tokina/Hoya/Kenko products for the USA. Not exactly a "dealer".

Guess what the distributor from Canon is called in the USA?

Hoya does own Tokina and Hoya and Kenko (THK), and now Pentax. THK.

Being a "distributor" and not a "dealer" doesn't change anything. It's just an US "distributor", not the 3 companies altogether.

Hoya and Tokina/Kenko are separate companies. That's a fact.
