Voigtländer 25mm f/0,95 for Micro Four Thirds
#11
meh, I'll stick to the pana 20mm ... who wants to focus manually all the time.

cameraquest.com states that this lens has fully electronic coupling. On the other hand, it has an aperture ring. I am wondering if this ring will really work, e.g., in aperture priority or manual mode.

The last time Panasonic/Leica introduced lenses with aperture ring for four-thirds, this was usable on only one camera (the DMC-L1).

The set including this lens, the E-PL1, and the VF-2 looks really interesting.

The aperture rings are actually fully functional on Panasonic mFT cameras, too. At least the one on my Summilux 25 is.

Cool. Is that true only for Panasonic, or does it also work on Olympus cameras?

I don't know (haven't tried myself) but I assume they only work on Panasonic cameras.

Interesting side note: they work on Panasonic mFT cameras, regardless wether you use the Pana or Oly FT-mFT adapter.
