I really doubt it - according to the reports, DSLR sales have increased nearly 35% over the last year. Has anyone compared how EVILs are doing against point-and-shoot cameras? Somehow I think EVILs will simply form a separate, third segment, mostly eating away market share currently owned by P&S cameras and some entry-level DSLRs. It's really difficult to believe that EVILs would affect any DSLRs above mid-level (say, D90 and up).
