Salzburg, Mountains 3 photos
#1
Hi,

I'd like to show three images from our recent trip to the Lungau in Salzburg. There are some beautiful mountains. All photos shot 2000+m above sea level.

Nikon D80 + Sigma 10-20 @ 10mm, ISO 100, f/6.3, 1/160s, shot by a friend; I only did the processing

After a while of letting it rot in the drawer, I finally got back to my Sigma UWA (the 10-20 f/4.5-5.6). Shooting in RAW gives really nice results. On JPEG I found it a bit soft, but as I saw in these shots the results are absolutely superb from my point of view.

I like the 3-th one due to the nice background. It introduces nice 3D feeling

Yes sigma is a little bit soft on corner but i like sugma randering.

If you use advanced high pass sarpening the drawback disappears.

Gr,
