Personally I still think it wouldn't be a bad idea - it would be nice for users to compare field results from specific lenses in one gallery ... but I also understand the drawbacks it could have. A thread is one way to do it, but the nice thing about you galleries is that you have an instant view of the images, rather than having to scroll down a thread.
Anyway, maybe I'll start a Zeiss thread. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
It's be interesting to hear about other users' experiences, since there are very few field reports of these lenses on DSLRs.
