Mitakon Speedmaster 50mm f0.95 for Canon EOS coming

If the optics render like the one for Sony FE mount, this should be a rather lovely lens to own. Of course, for those who want/need/enjoy using large apertures/shallow DOF.

Well, you mentioned wanting the "Canon dream lens", the 50mm f/0.95 "flare machine", once. This could be your (more realistic) ticket. Smile

Look at the size of that back element. Clear why that for instance rules out a Nikon F-mount version. I wonder if the "flare mask" will introduce mechanical vignetting and oddly shaped bokeh balls.

The thing that I'm wondering about - why is that flare mask not painted in matte black?
