Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM announced

Fairly smallish and decent MTF (by Sony at least):

1400USD ... not unreasonable - almost makes me wonder whether Sony is feeling the CaNikon heat now.

There's already a thread started by toni-A about this lens... Sometimes I get the impression we can't have enough threads about one item: rumors, official announcement, introduction, sample shots, test announcement, test, other reviews about...

cool lens, supporting the equation: either light and great performance, but expensive or great performance and affordable, but heavier.

It's a bit much flares, I'd say, else than that weaknesses but some cool features.
Finally proper 24 prime for FE mount. Comparable in size and weight as my workhorse from film days, 24/2. But whole stop faster. Samples also look nice. Cool lens.
