My (now thinner) bank account disagrees - and I'm quite sure there was nothing like the D FA 150-450 "decades" ago. I don't know what happened, but you're not even trying to appear fair.

Years ago Pentax had a fantastic range of Pro AF* lenses that included the AF* 28-70, AF* 85mm F1.4, AF* 200 F2.8 AF* 300 F2.8, AF* 300 F4.5,  AF*400mm F5.6, AF*600mm F4 and the AF* 250-600mm F5.6 and more. These lenses were very good performers and command very high prices today, if you can find them.

 

 Just in fact what Pentax users need today, so maybe you thought I was just being unjust, unfortunately all those lenses were discontinued some years back,see these links!
