Then again it was reported to fall to f/7.1 pretty late in the zoom range, certainly after 400mm. Lots of people probably started setting their cameras to 1/2 stop exposure steps because it reports f/5.6 at 400mm if set up this way (f/6.3 if set to 1/3 stop intervals). 
In reality it's prolly something like f/6.1 at 400mm, so not quite rounds down to f/6.7.
That was pretty surprising though, since I used to expect it to turn f/7.1 at about 320~350mm tops.
