Looking closer - the bokeh is good in the center but the corners are a bit rough.

Part of the foliage is OOF.
I like what I'm seeing. Looks like several steps above the DA 15mm, even forgetting that the latter is f/4 - and that was a lens much appreciated by Pentaxians (often stopped down, though).
There is some fringing at f/2.4, but I've seen much worse. I've seen much worse even in digital era SLR lenses. It looks reasonably sharp in the corners - wide open. The Yaotomi night landscape sample show no visible weakness (coma) for astrophoto.
I'm realistic, I never expected a Limited to be "perfectly" corrected. But this looks like something I can be very happy with.

Me too, usually with much larger apertures.

That's... just the scene? I'm not sure what the lens could do, except for blurring it further (which the DoF won't allow). Or making it sharp (closing down). Similar story with highlights through foliage; even partially blurred, these still will look harsh.
I've seen occasionally harsh bokeh even from portrait lenses. There's another sample - from Map Camera - whose upper left corner is making me dizzy, if I'd look at high magnification.

Traces of Nisen bokeh (OOF edge splitting) in the upper left of the image ......... also look at the stones in the right upper, the black joints there are also showing slight signs of Nisen bokeh as the become OOF
....... but that's not levelling much of a criticism ....... overall it looks good !!
