Might be interesting to give that 180-600 a try. Though buying pretty much anything is out of question for me for quite a while. Smile

  I think one of the unexpected surprises of the Nikkor over Sony's version is the stabilization, I've seen hand held videos at 600mm where there was virtually no visible sign of image movement, it was compared with the Sony which jumped and jittered ......
