Doing all things Canon, MFT, Sony and Fuji
Great! Can't wait... Optical Limits feels like rock concert now, reviews are coming one after another.
It looks like a great lens, but also in this case a bit below what one could expect given the rumours. It's only 1:2 macro, not 1:1; just a tad lighter and shorter (15%, not “one third” as rumours said); and while it's more compact, if I understand well it loses internal focusing.
Sony a6300, Sony a6000, Sony NEX-6, Sony E 10-18mm F4 OSS, Sony Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS, Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS, Sigma 150-600mm Æ’/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary, Samyang 12mm Æ’/2, Sigma 30mm F2.8 DN | A, Meyer Gorlitz Trioplan 100mm Æ’/2.8, Samyang 8mm Æ’/3.5 fish-eye II | Zenit Helios 44-2 58mm Æ’/2
Plus some legacy Nikkor lenses.
let's see what Sony can do, already Canon 70-200f4 is as sharp as can be, was on the verge of buying then said won't buy a lens just because it's sharp: too slow for portraits, too short for birds , I got 70-300 IS instead ....
