This lens is very contrasty, at least they mention it several times. So, the lens maker touts the lens' low dynamic range, basically. While camera manufacturers nowadays tout the high dynamic range.

Just one question: at what focal lengths does it become usable on the larger formats? Smile

With Tokina you can kinda rely on at least the crop factor (with Sigma UWA zooms that is not always the case).
So that will mean on FF 135 format: 14 x 1.5 = 21mm..... So lets say you will have a 20mm f2 prime, more or less. On APS-H, 1t least down to 16mm.
