with canon w-e1 I have plenty more options so it's by far more interesting

Quote:I already have a good one and have several good CF cards and several SD cards, but I am looking for the most practical solution, if wifi download is same speed and as practical as card reading then why not ?
Most definitely it's not going to be the same speed...  Rolleyes

A mine of information we may all be here  Tongue .......but...

...sometimes it's better to Google these questions "yourself", maybe on a Canon DPreview forum........there will be knowledgeable experienced people that can give you the appropriate information...... direct!

Can't use an SD card and have WiFi at the same time so it's not so interesting Wink

Do you mean PZ(sorry OL) forum  is not adequate ???

naaah not going on Dpreview

I made my researche: wifi download is slow and not so practical, I will use both cards now since I have both

I don't think it's anything to do with "adequate" ......."no inference there from me to that effect"!

In fact if that were the case I wouldn't be here!...however, it's specialist knowledge here.....with not so many contributors...

In terms of coverage and forum members,  I think that you will find Dpreview can cater for a broader band of camera topics and in a deeper fashion than a lens site could ever compete with......like button configuration, compatibility, Wifi speed and the like...the Canon forums are incredibly well attended!     but you don't want to go there, so....

I guess we will just have to do our best then!.... Rolleyes
