Right now, I'd typically go with a two body setup to have both reach and wide angle at short notice. If one lens will do that good enough, it also saves needing the 2nd camera. Currently I'd do 15-400 on APS-C, so roughly 24-640 full frame. A single lens doing 28-560 will substantially cover that, and I can choose to modify it by body also.
