Funny ... the 85 has an aperture ring ...

And the 85 and 70-200 have 11(!) aperture blades.

And all are BRICKS

Do they rattle as well?

820 gr for the 85, and the aperture ring looks like a bigger copy of Fujinons. But it can be declicked. I need it, get me a dozen.

I think I haven't noticed this with Sony ;-) but never say never!

"The SEL20TC teleconverter is currently compatible with the SEL70200GM lens only."

Too bad.  Sad  But there's that "currently"... new, future lenses or firmware update for past lenses?

When I look at a lens on a website and over it it's a line with "Electronics   Playstation   Entertainment" I'm sort of feeling to be on weird grounds.

It looks like only MFT will remain smaller and lighter system.

The 35/1.4 has the same ring

I am slightly wondering about the appeal of those lenses on a dwarfish Sony camera.

Anyway, so it has begun -  mirrorless systems (well, Sony) are battling on the DSLR's last exclusive grounds now.

Given the prices, weight, and size, what would attract prospective DSLR buyers? The lack of mirror, or 4K video? Maybe hype?

Let alone existing DSLR owners. What is there for them?
