Interesting to say the least.

I also read the post on dpreview on an interview with one of the engineers.

I'm gonna take a few deep breaths and rethink my system(s).

Great bokeh and extra sharp? Who doesn't want that?

... in light of all this greatness I just wish that they would make a few more good lenses for their APS-C line of mirrorless cams.

That's a lot of marketing promises.

Let's see if they actually deliver real improvements in the lenses.

Only just catching up on all the recent Sony stuff - keeping my options open!

After seeing the G Master videos, I can't but help feel, the internet forums have won. Put it this way, if you gave me a yes/no question if I want better bokeh, who wouldn't say yes? But the way they are promoting this... it feels to me they are concentrating too much on it. If you had an artistically good shot, is someone really going to call you out on onion bokeh or slight polygonal shapes that you might not even notice unless you really zoom in?

Of course it isn't just that. The overall promise sounds good so far, subject to real world testing. Size and price are nothing special. If you want high end, you still have to pay for it.
