Sigma would do anything to prove they are good lens designers so this should be expected, also this lens should be expected to hit the market quite soon

I'd be happy see them make a 12mm (rectilinear) prime for those of us who prefer 16(17)-xx lenses to 24-xx. Buying a 12-24(ish) zoom to complement a 16-35 would be a bit silly but a prime makes sense here. I have their 14mm alongside my 16-35s but would like to see an update.
