I have Giotto tripod, big and heavy, there is absolutely no way I will be allowed to take on a plane with me, this is the reason I am looking for travel compact one

As with most things, you get what you pay for... £20 is a pittance to pay for something you'd want to trust to support a D3S..!

What's your budget..?
