Yes, and on the D7000, too. Writing the reviews might take a while, though, there are lenses with higher priority.

I prefer the newer lenses, yes. As you can see in the sample images, the 28/1.4 lacks contrast wide open and also shows some "glow" around edges at f/1.4, which is typical for older ultra fast lenses. OTOH, it's not surprising the newer lenses perform better or at least render a more "modern" look, since there are roughly 17 years between the two generations.
