Hopefully Sony got the message ("where are the lenses for this beast").

It looks great, but as everyone else is saying, where are the small, high quality lenses?

Still an ergonomics nightmare then, a shame.

There is hope for improvements :-). They "fixed" the previous NEX3 & NEX5 somehow.

They are all over the place <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />.

Just that they need an adapter and are MF only... <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Kind regards, Wim

You can mount e.g. the Z135/1.8 or Z85/1.4 via LA-EA2 ... with AF.

I will certainly use the NEX 7 with my Z16-80 for instance.

Yes, I forgot about the LA-EA2. That adds quite a hefty price tag to the camera, however, and effectively makes it an SLT model... <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />.

I believe the price will go down. Those who want to grab the camera as soon as it appears should of course be prepared to pay the premium.

I tried the NEX-7 and ergonomically it's fine, much better than NEX-3 which is in itself not half bad. YMMV.

Looks positive esp the noise response. Pity the jpeg engine is not up to olympus standards (but I'm probably in the minority there). Also wouldn't hurt if the auto focus was up to ep-3 standards.
