That is more a matter of choice, isn't it ?
There are very few high grade APS-C zoom lenses and a marginal amount of primes.
In terms of genuine brand zoom lenses there's basically just the Canon and Nikon 17-55mm and you may already debate whether the Canon qualifies as professional grade lens with respect to its build quality. High grade tele zoom lenses ? Nada.
It's different on the third-party side and I think that they are actually selling a ton of those. The lack of high grade tele zooms is still quite obvious here as well though. Only the Sigma 50-150mm comes into mind here.
Pentax has a lot but they've no full format anyway.
