No need to protect the brightness and colours of the LCD <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />. However, to protect it from getting damaged, you could always put on one of those layered glass protective screens. The better ones enhance contrast too, so it is a worthwhile investment IMO.
