Quick reaction indeed, as demand is so strong and Canon priced it's 2 new DSLR's higher already, Nikon is taking the obvious step, though depending on the local market as it seems.. I've been able to get the D800 at a "promotional" price (equivalent to 2.680 euros) but I've been told the D800 is generally on back-order, and will remain so in the next weeks...
