I believe the 'error in pricing' comment like I believe in pink elephants - they had to say something, and honesty would have been better.
The new arrivals were expensive to start with ('Treasure Island' as usual)
I did work in the USA some years ago - every time I returned to Europe I felt that 'robbed' feeling again when I saw prices of... well, most things, really.
On reflection, the question of UK only may have been a 'toe in the water' to see the response, and also to prepare other markets, courtesy of the Internet. Also, (without checking) I believe the movement in £/Yen rate has made Japanese goods cheaper recently.
