Joju, I got it that you were talking about an Art version, but for now all we have is the older one. Given their other recent lenses, I would hope any newer one will be more of an improvment and not just a new skin for the same optical design.
As for filters, I can understand having NDs in various forms, but a polariser? I recall even at 24mm equivalent you can get significant variations across a frame from using one.
Also had a quick play in a calculator. The difference in diagonal FoV between 12 and 11mm is less than I thought, at approximately 122 and 126 degrees respectively. So if Sigma do come up with something nice at a decent price, I don't think the 1mm difference would be that significant.
