On a recent gallery posting, there were a number of comments about some missing left foot.

The point that BC made was:

"There are no detailed structures on any side of the image, so you should clone in the edges when you have straightened the image, if indeed the cropping got rid of some room under her foot. Then the image will look better."



I hadn't thought of that, and he was right. So, thanks!



To put things into perspective, however, the image was part of a slideshow that I did on our recent trip to Australia. I had to go through about 2000 shots, of which 1700 were from my wife's iPhone.

You will notice that some frames show only for a brief moment. They are supposed to show for 1.5 seconds. The slideshow looks OK on the PC, but for some reason something went wrong on YouTube.
