Sigh... no love from Tamron to (f)e-mount

Sigh... Michael Reichmann just posted (http://luminous-landscape.com/sony-a7ii-...ntarctica/) an excellent review of the Tamron 150-600 with the Sony A7II via a-mount adapter... and I hoped that sooner or later a version with the native e-mount would come. It sounds it won't. I'm not interested in the 150-600 as a generic birding lens, since I want something that is comparable in weight to the Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 (and now, possibly to the E version). But it could have been an option for extra reach when operating from hides reachable by a short walk, or from the car. Sure, you can say that in this case it's not the a-mount adapter to make a difference... but less complexity is always better.

The Tamron 150-600 is an SLR lens and will probably arrive on the A mount.

I guess making it for E mount would require a costly adaptation of the AF motors to work with CD AF.

It is already available in a-mount: Reichmann used that with a Sony a-e adapter.
