Price will most certainly be a defining factor.
I haven't quite followed after the DP1, but it seemed from the samples at the time that the lens was pretty much excellent (from center to borders) and that in absolute terms, the pictures looked really great for a textbook landscape camera. But it was four years ago :-)
So I can see the promise here if it stays "cheap" and is able to deliver super crisp high detail images, compared to the aforementioned and possibly much more expensive (to be seen) NEX7/XPro 1.
