What slightly concerns me is that by somewhat reducing moire, Fuji might reduce the detail of red and blue objects as well. I mean, taking the original Bayer CFA, a matrix of 4x4 elements will have 4 red, 4 blue and 8 green sensels, while Fuji's X-Trans will have 3 red, 3 blue and 10 green - even higher bias towards green? <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Not quite correct ... looking at the 6x6 Fuji matrix we have 20 green, 8 red, 8 blue. With the conventional Bayer matrix you get 18 green, 9 red, 9 blue. Makes approx. an 11% shift towards green.
