I really doubt it. First of all, the sector is already extremely crowded – this camera will have to compete with mFT, NEX, Samsung, even with the large sensor bridge cameras. In order to stand out, it has to be something special (like Fuji X-Pro 1) and it’s not. I mean, Sony DSC-R1 wasn’t a runaway success, was it? With Canon’s G1X being almost identical concept, I would imagine it’s just going to kill the G12 and sit in exactly the same niche.
