It might be that I found my compact IL camera system <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />... Do you know what is the flange focal distance for the X-mount?

Well, the rumor mill already suggested a M-mount adapter if that's the background of your question.

IIRC the flange distance is said to be 17.5mm, while lenses may protrude into the camera body, leaving only down to 7.5mm between rear lens and sensor.

Unfortunately there's no word about an external AF sensor. Looks like plain contrast AF. And a bit low battery performance.

This works more than good enough on Panasonic EVILs.

Yes... M-mount adapter is nice, but first I should have the M lens for it <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />...

I was rather hoping for a (potential) compatibility with Sony E mount or even with C-mount... And maybe CX mount...

Edit: CX mount is not on the table (of course)...

Sorry, no way. C/CX doesn't work with APS-C sensors. And Sony E is not in scope for sure.

It's a real bummer... You're right, c mount also has a smaller image circle...
